The Afternoon Club

Refund policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

Tickets aren't refundable if you change your mind or can't attend. They are refunded if we cancel or move the event, as explained below. This policy is part of our terms of sale.

If the event is cancelled

You get a full refund of the ticket price automatically. You don't need to ask: we email you when the refund is made, your tickets are cancelled, and your order shows as refunded.

If the event moves to a new date

  • Your tickets stay valid for the new date. You don't need to do anything.
  • If you can't attend the new date, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of us announcing the change. After that, the tickets stay valid for the new date only.
  • To ask, email hello@theafternoonclub.co from the email address on your account, with your order reference (it starts with “TAC-”).

When tickets aren't refunded

  • You change your mind, can't attend, or arrive late.
  • You're refused entry for not being 18 or over, or for not having photo ID.
  • You're refused entry or removed because of your behaviour, or for breaking the venue's rules.
  • Changes to the line-up, set times or production.
  • Your ticket was already used because you shared its QR code.

If you were charged but didn't get tickets

Rarely, a payment can go through after a hold has ended and the tickets have sold out. If you were charged but your order doesn't show tickets, contact us and we'll refund the full amount.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card you paid with; we can't pay them to a different card or in cash. Once we've made a refund, banks usually take 5 to 14 days to show it on your statement.
